Honor Roll Camps

Headfirst Honor Roll Camps are open to rising or current high school sophomores, juniors and seniors, and our baseball prospect camps in the California region are the best showcases for academic high school baseball recruits. Our mission is to provide a platform through which student-athletes can play with purpose to achieve their goals of playing baseball at the next level. We strive to create an environment where student-athletes can perform at their very best in order to create their opportunity in front of a targeted group of engaged college coaches, who are watching their every move. We aim to empower each student-athlete with the knowledge that they have the ability to shape the outcome that they want in the recruiting process through the time and effort that they put in.

All Headfirst Honor Roll Camps include:

  • Demonstrating skills during “Showcase morning” — including defensive showcase, batting practice & objective measurements
  • Opportunities to receive instruction from and interact with the country’s best college coaches
  • No fewer than four (4) live games (2 per player each day), with college coaches performing on-field and in-dugout instruction throughout
  • Chances to gain valuable information, perspectives on the college recruiting process, and where individual players stand within it

Typical Schedule, Day 1

While event schedules can vary, Day 1 typically includes our offensive and defensive showcases (including 60-yard dash), an optional college recruiting seminar for parents, and four simulated games (each player will participate in 2 of these 4 games).

Typical Schedule, Day 2

Day 2 is comprised of additional simulated games. Once again, ballplayers will participate in 2 of 4 scheduled games. Our final round of games will end by approximately 4:30pm on Day 2.

Information for Pitchers

Pitchers should be prepared to throw two (2) simulated innings each day, if arms allow (and can limit themselves to one day or fewer innings if necessary). We will be available to speak with pitchers about their innings and arms at registration/check-in.

My experience at Headfirst Honor Roll was without a doubt greater than any other showcase that I could have gone to or have been to. The staff there was amazing and helped me whenever I needed help and the camp is run so us players had as much communication with college coaches as possible. It is a well-run camp that I highly recommend to any player wishing to play at the next level. 2016 Headfirst Baseball Honor Roll Camper
