All Headfirst game action is recorded by our video partner nextpro. This video is then tagged to individual athletes and stored in a database accessible by all college coaches. Delivering the best-in-class high-academic showcase opportunity now not only means giving student-athletes the opportunity to play in front of and engage directly with top coaches – it means compiling a video record of camp gameplay that can be viewed by all coaches after camp has ended.

After each camp, all video from the in-game action will be tagged to the individual players and stored in a Headfirst-specific database, meaning they can simply search for and click your name in the database to pull up your game footage on the screen and show the entire coaching staff that at bat that got you on their recruiting board.

Additionally, student-athletes have the option to purchase a subscription service directly through nextpro to create a custom-edited highlight video, including only the footage from camp that you would like. This will give you access to a custom highlight video of verified game footage to send to college coaches.

New in 2019, Headfirst Honor Roll Camps have partnered with Triple Crown and the Zoom Into June tournament and the Zoom Into June All-Academic Games to increase the opportunities for high school softball players looking to pursue their dream of playing in college.

By registering for both the All-Academic Games and Headfirst Honor Roll West, you extend your game play in front of the nation’s top academic softball programs, increasing your chances to get your name circled on their recruiting boards.

The Headfirst Difference

Access • Guidance • Experience

The Most Access to College Coaches

Our camps are designed to guarantee more access to college coaches than any other high-academic showcase camp and to ensure that every coach sees every athlete play – both in the showcase and in games. We also purposefully build unassigned time into each college coach’s schedule to allow for off-field conversations and to make connections with student-athletes.

Insight & Guidance for Athletes and Parents

We want you to be in the best position possible to generate interest with top college programs. From guidance for student-athletes on strategies for talking to college coaches and making that key initial contact, to helping parents navigate this often overwhelming journey, we host seminars and discussions and seek out one-on-one conversations to provide the most insight possible.

Deep Bench of Experience

We’ve been there. Literally. Each of our events is staffed with a dynamic, engaging team of former or current high-academic student-athletes. This Headfirst team has dreamed as you dream and lived a journey similar to the one you’re currently on. We cherish the opportunities to connect with like-minded student-athletes on and off the field and provide answers and encouragement along the way.
