Event FAQs

Does Headfirst provide a lunch for the campers?
Lunch will be available for purchase at the facility. There will not be a dedicated break in the schedule for lunch, but all players will have breaks during which they will be able to eat a meal or a snack. We will communicate these breaks clearly to the players.

Arrival Time & Check-In

Camp will begin on the morning of Day 1. Student-athletes and families will receive specific instructions for arrival time on Day 1 in advance of camp. Check-in generally takes place between 7:00am-8:00am with programming starting shortly thereafter.

Typical Schedule, Day 1

While event schedules can vary, Day 1 typically includes our offensive and defensive showcases (including speed assessment), an optional college recruiting seminar for parents, and no less than 2 games for student-athletes.

Typical Schedule, Day 2

Day 2 is comprised of additional simulated games. Once again, each student-athlete will participate in at least 2 of the 4 scheduled games. Our final round of games will end by approximately 4:30pm on Day 2.

Travel & Accommodations All campers will be responsible for getting to the Honor Roll Camp locations on their own.

Comparing Headfirst Honor Roll Camp to other events aimed at helping high school ballplayers pursue college athletics is like comparing life in the Major Leagues to a season spent in A-ball.
